January 2008 - Exoteric launch new meter prices.

On the 1st of January Exoteric are pleased to be able to offer a new standard pricing model on all LP&MP diaphragm meters. All of the new prices are extremely competitive and are available to all customers. Combined with our outstanding service and specialist knowledge, we believe this completes the winning formula.

September 2007 - EGS Acquired by the Inexus Group.

On the 1st of September Exoteric, formally known as EGS became part of the Inexus Holdings Group of Companies. With its specialist knowledge of the I&C Connections market, Alongside the Inexus reputation for innovation, with its unrivalled knowledge of the deregulated industry, we believe Exoteric's core value of customer service provides the perfect partnership.

 

March 2005 - Complete Package.

In March 2005 Exoteric Gas Solutions obtained full accreditation to carry out basic non-routine connections (CNRB) under the Gas Industry Registration Scheme (GIRS) managed by Lloyd's Register. This success makes EGS the first company to complete the suite of accreditations required to carry out the full range of operations.

July 2004 - EGS becomes the first Ofgem Approved Gas Meter Asset Manager.

On the 12th July 2004 Exoteric Gas Solutions became the first company to receive approval from Ofgem as a Gas Meter Asset Manager (MAM). This approval is part of the gas industry process that ensures that companies are compliant with the published Meter Asset Managers Code of Practice (MAMCOP).

March 2004 - EGS Acquisition of GES.

On the 19th March 2004 Exoteric Gas Solutions purchased the entire share capital of Gas Engineering Services Ltd (GES), a company based in Clevedon, near Bristol, which specialises in the installation and maintenance of gas, water and mechanical services.

2001 - First Meter Install.

On the 2nd of April 2001 EGS installed their first meter. This was the first working day following the opening up of this market to competition by Ofgem and the breaking of Transco's monopoly.

1996 - EGS Established.

In 1996, Exoteric Gas Solutions Limited was set up by Andrew Duffield to provide competition to Transco's previous monopoly of the connections market.
